RIPPLE EDITS restricts ripple-effect evaluation to facts within a 2-hop distance from the subject or object of the edited triplet.

Summary

When a fact in the knowledge graph gets edited, the system only checks for knock-on effects on facts that are at most two steps away from the changed fact, rather than tracing consequences through the entire network. This keeps the impact analysis fast and bounded, but it also means any downstream effects beyond two links are deliberately left unexamined.
