contradictions-cross-batch-pairs-undetected
IN premise
Batch boundaries are non-overlapping — each belief appears in exactly one batch per run — so contradictions between beliefs in different batches cannot be detected in a single run.
Summary
When beliefs are split into batches for review, the system can only check for contradictions among beliefs within the same batch. If two beliefs contradict each other but land in different batches, that conflict will go unnoticed until a future run happens to place them together. This is a structural blind spot in batch-based review that means some inconsistencies can persist undetected across multiple review cycles.
